Hello Deviantart! Clay and Talt here!
So, you must be wondering who are Awkward Peace Killers, A.P.K. for short, anyway? Well, we are a team of two who are here to help you with your artist's block, and writer's block. We may not be grammer and writing professors... heck I know I, Clay, can barely spell! (Lol, I'm going through and fixing the most obvious mistakes... I'm Talt, btw.) O.o Okkkk. So getting back to the point, if you have a writer's block and dont know what to write, we will give you something to write! Now I know that sounds kind of silly but that's who we are! Even if you dont have writer's block, or you want to improve your writing style, don't know how to start, want to help others...That's what we're here for!
Talt and I have decided on a project for everyone here at Deviantart! Its called the A.P.K.
There will be spontaneous prizes and contest from Talt and I.
Here are the rules(well more like guidlines) to the writing's of A.P.K.:
1. You can choose to put this in comic, writings, drawings, animation, photography...whatever floats your boat.
2.In your story of the A.P.K. you should have at least three main characters. One of the characters must be a boy, and one a girl, the other one can be the gender of your choosing.
These three characters are who you are going to be focusing on through out the story. Each one has to have a somewhat distinctive personality. One has to be awkward, another peace, and the other one a killer.
You can use those terms litterally or put a twist to them.
Exmp: Your character Killer being afraid of killing.
It does not matter what character has what personality.
You have free reign on their names, height, age, weight, hair color, and pretty much everything else.
3.Your story has to have a conflict between two countries/fiefs/castles/lands/people/aliens/villages/place of your choosing.
4.The conflict can be of your creation, was it war, famine, territoral issues, or just plain "She hit me!" that got these two going?
5.Your three main charactars, the A.P.K. (they can call themselves something else if you want) are out to set things straight between the two. If they fail or succeed is up to your, and how they stop it is also up to you!
6. To help you out a bit, put animal refrences into your people. Like your main characters could have the power of a certain animal, have the same characteristics, or descendents. These could be your own creations of animals, creatures, mythical creatures. But if you really don't want to, you don't have to. But it is encouraged.
7. If your stories/drawings/other have inappropriate behavior, foul language, PLEASE mark it as mature.
8. This is Purely Suggetional, if you need help with anything, from being stuck in a particular part of your story, you need help with characters, or something, not even a part of the A.P.K. in your others story's we would be glad to help.
Ask for me, Clay for random charactars, i can think them up on the spot.
Ask for Talt, if you need help with grammer, spelling and technical stuff like that.
Ask for both of us if you need help with ideas and such like that!
9. The most important rule...HAVE FUN...and...USE YOUR IMAGINATION!... thats what this is all about, is enhancing your writing/drawing skills and haveing fun while you do it!
There are no deadlines to finish these your A.P.K. project, so take your time if you need it!
To join us and use the A.P.K. stuff, just watch us and send us a note saying that you would like to become apart of A.P.K. We are both on here regularly and will most likely get back to you as soon as possible.
